I am honored to have this poem published in San Pedro River Review. This epistolary work was inspired by Edgar Allen Poe's very young wife and muse, Virginia Eliza Clemm, who died tragically from tuberculosis at the age of twenty-four, after struggling with this devastating illness for five years.  Are there any Edgar Allen Poe fans out there? Virginia Eliza Clemm was at the heart of his work.
