Here with the amazing poet, Stacy Nigliazzo (the beautiful lady sitting next to me) who was invited to read by Public Poetry for their summer reading series. I highly recommend checking out her book, Scissored Moon, which has become a true favorite of mine. An added delight was seeing my step-father's (David Hickman) four paintings which were purchased by Houston Public Library in the 1980's for this fourth floor reading room.
