 | I am profoundly honored to have been invited by the Jewish Federation to present for Yom Limmud, the Jewish Day of Learning. Held at the Congregation Beth Israel here in Houston, this is a deeply inspiring event with a wealth of presenters from all areas and disciplines. My presentation, "Poetry: Crucibles of Grief, Burden, and Loss," examines how poetry is uniquely suited to facilitate expression, and provide solace, during times of extreme hardship and loss.
